After a series of strict and comprehensive reviews and assessment, Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Sunshine Guojian”) was awarded the Grade A Quality Credit Unit in the quality credit rating assessment of Shanghai pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises.

The quality credit rating assessment of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises is aimed at evaluating credit ratings of drug manufacturers by the government and society. It will assist the government to support the best and eliminate the worst, deepening reform of drug regulation and promoting targeted and selective inspections, precise supervision and precise law enforcement by regulators.

During the assessment, Shanghai Food and Drug Administration and Shanghai Association for Quality of Pharmaceuticals coordinated with third-party credit rating companies, executed system assessment for product quality safety, compliance for production quality assurance system and the ability of pharmaceutical production quality system to resist risks in drug manufacturers. The assessment results were divided into four grades, from high to low, A, B, C and D. After a series of strict data review and evaluation, Sunshine Guojian got full marks in three of the four first-level indicators in the evaluation, including “Records of Breach of Trust and Violation in Drug Production and Sales”, “Risk Management Ability” and “Social Credit Evaluation”, and also led the industry in the “Market Competitiveness”. In the end, Sunshine Guojian was rated as Grade A Quality Credit Unit with a score of 93.74, which was much higher than the industry average and also leading high-risk enterprises.

The Grade A Quality Credit Unit is a symbol that represents full recognition by the regulatory department in the Shanghai government and the industry association on Sunshine Guojian’s efforts to ensure drug quality and “quality first”. It is also an incentive for Sunshine Guojian to keep pace with the implementation of GMP, improving and perfecting quality management system and ensuring the quality and safety of medicines, which laid a solid foundation for more market opportunities and corporate business promotion.
